My journey

I've always loved drawing, but it's really been the last few years that I've gotten serious about it. I love the unpredictable side of ink and watercolor: working with accidents, adapting to what the brush decides to do, that's often where things get interesting.

Why these techniques? First, the desire to disconnect from screens. And then I love that direct contact: paper, ink, water, something concrete to work with.

These days I draw in waves, sometimes I take breaks, then it comes back. I've been going to life drawing workshops in Lille for just over a year. When traveling, I always keep a sketchbook: drawing to slow down, and keep memories my own way.

This site is a bit of all that, a place to share and track my progress.
